No importa si tu proyecto usa React, Vue o Jquery. Tampoco importa si tu proyecto es greenfield o legacy. The Web has changed a lot since its creation as a platform for static articles. Early Web apps used servers generating HTML on the fly. PHP was huge, then declined as JS rose. Flash came and went. Today, the one thing we can be sure of is that more changes are yet to come. What changes can Web developers expect between the Web of 2019 and the Web of 2020? What about 2025? In this talk, Richard draws on 12 years of professional Web development experience, and of being an early adopter of React in 2013 and Elm in 2014, to justify several concrete predictions about the Web in 2020 and 2025. About: Richard Feldman, Head of Technology - NoRedInk Richard is the author of “Elm in Action” from Manning Publications, and the instructor for the Frontend Masters Introduction to Elm and Advanced Elm workshops. He is a member of the Elm Core Team and works at NoRedInk, which has over 300,000 lines of Elm code in production, and which has employed Elm creator Evan Czaplicki since 2016. In his free time, Richard hosts the Philadelphia Elm Meetup and maintains open-source Elm libraries such as elm-test and elm-css. Some have said he’s “a fan of Elm,” but he’s not sure where they got that wild idea.
With the new additions to React, the way we build frontend applications is evolving, leading to improved performance and maintainability. As of today, the most noticeable React API additions are Context, Hooks and Suspense. How do we apply new best practices to manage our application state? What are common techniques for fetching data? How do we architect modern React applications using a type system and a design system? In this talk, we'll walk through emerging patterns that helps us write exquisite React applications today. About: Glenn Reyes, Front-end Engineer - Independent Front-end Engineer, enjoys building apps and user interfaces with React & GraphQL, creator of Graphpack, co-organizer React Vienna meetups, John Mayer music enthusiast.
========================================================== Speaker: Cesar Alberca (@cesalberca) I'm a software developer very interested in good practices, architecture and testing. I work at Autentia as a frontend developer with technologies such as React, Vue, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc. I'm continuously on the lookout for things to read, learn and share. I've talked at JSDay Madrid 2019, Codenares 2018 and 2019, Ritsi, JSDay Canarias 2019 and Codemotion Madrid 2019.
The most valuable offering of Google for Startups is a powerful community allowing founders to support each other, especially in times like this, when challenges on the way may seem too overwhelming. We want to lead by example and give voice to those who pivoted in these difficult times to inspire other founders not to give up. Hear from Piotr Baczyński and Bartosz Rosłoński from Immersion - a Polish startup integrating Virtual & Augmented Reality with business solutions and see how technology can be put to use to help healthcare workers fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines.

Switch on my features! With new paradigms in software development and the embracing of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment, the speed for the development of new features and the publishing of new software versions have considerably increased. This talk will cover the approaches to test new features and software versions as often as we need, without impacting our users and allowing us to analyze the behavior to get the most out of our product. Which features are more likely to be successful? How do our users react to a new version? Which design is preferred? We will also review different techniques for the deployment and distribution of functionalities and different ways of implementing them in a practical way.
