Demi ha facilitado dos Open Space en WeCode, uno sobre "escalar equipos" y otro sobre "pairing", una práctica un poco discutida que en Flywire usan mucho y han querido ver cómo se lleva en otros sitios. Bea Hernández es Data Scientist. Actualmente trabaja con tecnología Deep Learning y Visualización de Datos aplicados a varios proyectos. Elena Torró: Programadora. En mi tiempo libre intento sin éxito mantener un blog personal y arreglar el cuello de botella de mi lista de TODO's, entre otros. Actualmente trabajo como desarrolladora Front End en CARTO. Ha ofrecido una kata en We Code de "GildedRose Refactoring Kata - Se trata de una Kata muy divertida de refactorización de "legacy code". Hice esta Kata en theAntievent, un Open Space de Bilbao, conducida por Sergio Revilla. Me gustó tanto que me apetece mucho hacerla de nuevo, esta vez siendo yo quien la conduzca. Al contrario que la mayoría de Katas, ¡la solución ya existe! Sólo que tenemos que discutir como cambiarla." This talk is about sharing how a day of programming to extreme looks like, what are the struggles and mostly what are the benefits of writing code by starting with the tests (TDD), push code directly to production (covering CI, CD concepts) and last, but not least doing this with a pair side by side, 8 hours a day, every day. This methodology, even though had been around for some time now, it’s still a tabu subject and it’s still seen as a hard to approach process. I did have, an as I am a newby in this field, I have tons of questions and curiosity facts and doubts about what part of this job relies on the society and the culture of the final users. Because, aren't websites designed and developed for somebody?
