He has been developing software since he was a kid, when his parents bought him a Sinclair Spectrum ZX and he started playing around with code. Since then, he has been involved in development, design, and architecture, and has worked in waterfall and agile organizations. His career started in Málaga, where he worked for big corporations and also small startups. He moved to Amsterdam in 2015 and is now working as Solutions Architect for a project based on Java and Spring Boot Microservices. Moisés has learned to be a pragmatic developer and architect and likes sharing his observations with others.

She is a well-known blogger and international speaker, a core member of the BDD community and a passionate advocate of the Cynefin framework and its ability to change mindsets. She has a strong technical background with 20 years’ experience in delivering value and coaching others to deliver, from small start-ups to global enterprises. Most of her work now focuses on Lean, Agile and organizational transformations, and the use of transparency, positive language, well-formed outcomes and safe-to-fail experiments in making change innovative, easy and fun.

Thinking of moving to Microservices? Watch out! That quest is full of traps, social traps. If you are not able to handle it, you may be blocked by meetings, frustration, endless challenges that will make you miss the monolith. Creating or migrating to a Microservices architecture might easily become a big mess, not only due to technical challenges but mostly because of human factors: it’s a major change in the software culture of a company.
